So I just spent the last hour playing CritterMatch and I'm actually really surprised by how much I enjoyed it. I mean, it's a hypercasual game, so I wasn't expecting to get too invested, but it's got this weirdly addictive quality to it. You're basically matching up different creatures to clear them from the board, and it sounds simple, but trust me, it gets tough fast. I found myself getting more and more into it, trying to beat my high score and unlock new critters.

Honestly, the graphics are pretty cute, the creatures are all unique and colorful, and the sound effects are fun. It's not like it's going to win any awards for best visuals or anything, but for a browser game, it's definitely passable. But I guess that's just the price you pay for playing a free game, right? And it's not like they're overly intrusive or anything, you can just close them and get back to playing. I've seen worse, to be fair.
